This tour is great! Shout out to Capt Mike and Dulce! I got to pet the stingrays and "swim" with them. I can't swim and felt very comfortable with this company! This was an experience of a life time and completely worth it!! The lunch was great and I got a chance to hold a starfish how cool is that!! Thanks guys!!

If you are scrolling through reviews looking for the best Stingray City tour, stop right here and book Anchor Tours! I spent an incredible 3.5 hours on the water and honestly, it was the highlight of my vacation. The boat was spacious and super comfortable making the ride out there a breeze. The crew? Absolute legends. They were professional but kept me entertained the whole time. They educated me on the rays while making sure I felt safe. What I loved most was the individual attention, the operators made sure I got to feed the rays and get up close. They have someone dedicated to taking pictures! It was so nice to just enjoy the moment and not worry about fumbling with a waterproof phone case. They captured amazing shots of me holding the rays. After kissing the rays for 7 years of good luck (don't forget to do this!), I headed to Starfish Point where I held a starfish for the very first time. To top it all off, the lunch provided was actually delicious. Hope you also have a great time! 10/10 recommend!

Amazing Mangrove Kayak Adventure! This mangrove kayak tour was absolutely incredible! Jory and Dylan were outstanding guides—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made the whole experience fun, safe, and sup no er engaging from start to finish. Paddling through the mangroves was beautiful and peaceful, and Jory and Dylan shared fascinating facts about the ecosystem and wildlife along the way. They were always patient, encouraging, and happy to answer questions, which made the tour even better. You can tell they truly care about giving everyone an unforgettable experience. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone looking for an adventure and great guides. It was an extra treat to hold the large red and orange starfish in the water along with touching the jelly fish and seeing iguanas and stingray in their natural habitat! Huge thanks to Jory and Dylan for an amazing time! One recommendation is to increase the time at the business district for relaxing classy scenery with time to unwind and relax! Would love to chill with wine 🍷 and snacks.

We did the Stingray and Starfish city excursion off a cruise ship and it was amazing! Naomi was our tour guide and she was extremely knowledgeable providing so much information during the trip. We had a group of about 40, but each person got to be 1x1 with the Stingrays. I would recommend this for families or couples! What a great memory!

Definitely a popular tour so it was crowded. Kelsey, Winston, Carlos, and possibly Mario was our tour team and even with our massive group, they made sure everyone was a part of the experience. They were fun and great at explaining and taking care of us. The string rays was an amazing experience!

Author: Kathy W | Date: 6/10/2025 | Source: tripadvisor | Rating: 5 stars

We did the Stingray City, Starfish Point and Beach excursion with our Carnival cruise. It was a great experience, Dylan was our guide. I don't remember our Captain's name, but he was nice and made us feel safe. The water was absolutely gorgeous and the stingrays were so sweet. Lunch was absolutely delicious, my favorite meal of our whole trip. Dylan took pictures of us with the stingrays and it was $60 to buy the photo package, which we thought was a good price, especially because the pictures were such great quality and really captured our fun. They made sure we all got to see the starfish at Starfish Point. Would highly recommend.

I took the stingray city, starfish point beach , and bites through the Royal Caribbean tour from Anchor Tours . I felt very safe and well taken care of, even though I was a solo traveler for this excursion. The Micheal the captain and the tour guide Dulce , and assistant were absolutely focused on the group, and making sure that we all experienced a good time. The bites turned out to be a full lunch that was very delicious and satisfying. I felt like I got my monies worth plus some. I would absolutely book a tour through this company again.

My family purchased from Anchor Tours for the Grand Cayman Singray and Starfish excursion through the Carnival ship excursion list. I'm so happy we did! The crew took great care of us, ensured we had an enjoyable Stingray and Starfish handling experience and also took excellent pics! Manuella was our guide and is fantastic1 We highly recommend this business!

We did the stingray/starfish excursion on our Carnival cruise. I highly recommend it. Dylan was our amazing tour guide. He was kind enough to put our pictures in a file to purchase when I returned home since I forgot my credit card on the ship. Once I returned, I emailed the tour group, paid for the pictures and received them within minutes.

Husband and I took a Stingray City and Coral Garden Reef Snorkel tour. Dylan was an excellent guide! He was very personable and engaging. He gave great information about the island and reef. I really appreciate that he took a ton of pictures of us with the stingrays that ensured we would have a few shots we liked. I wish we had more time snorkeling but saw some gorgeous fish and corral.

This was probably my favorite cruise excursion I have Ever done. Absolutely amazing. Swam with the stingrays at Stingray City. The experience was incredible and the excursion extremely organized. As a small group we interacted in the water with the Stingray. Each person was able to feed and interact with the stingrays individually as well. The crew took many pictures, and for a very reasonable fee, I was emailed a group of pictures that included me holding the Stingray and even kissing it!

The crew we had took such good care of us beginning with meeting us at the cruise ship port and transporting us all to the marina where we loaded out party boat. It was spacious and had what appeared to be proper safety equipment. We were taken out to a couple of locations of our choosing; one which was Stingray City, the other a beach with shallow water and starfish. The crew took copious photos of our group interacting with the rays and for a fee provided them following the day trip. They caught rays that we were able to interact with by petting and feeding. They were so good with the kids engaging them constantly both in the water and when on the boat. I would highly recommend booking this for a larger group and skipping the cruise ship excursions that are crowded. It felt like a custom tour and they had us back in plenty of time to get us to our ship for departure.

Awesome tour. We went on the Rum Cake Center/Panoramic Views and local bites tour at Cayman Island booked through MSC. Was an amazing experience. Wonderful atmosphere. Friendly staff. Lunch was great. Have gone to other tours before but this one was by far the most informative and enjoyable one. We believe what made the difference from previous tours was our tour guy Zach. He went and beyond to make of this tour an unforgettable one.

Very pleasant , professional and very accommodating to families with young kid/s like us . They treated the stingrays with respect and they also took great photos of us with the stingrays . It is definitely our favorite excursion from the Princess cruise . We went with them on 2/26/24. We highly recommend these crew and this company . Thanks again!

We went on a tour with our tour guide/bus driver Kevin. We went to Cayman Spirits Co, and the staff were very friendly (plus the rum was very good). We also went to Tortuga Rum Cake Factory, as well as Hell (which was way more fun than it sounds). Overall a great experience. Kevin was very nice and knowledgeable. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

Our family of 11 had a fabulous day with Anchor Tours. Our guides, Aleh, Yan, and Elvis, did a terrific job of taking us by boat to the stingray sandbar area. They were very safety conscious and explained everything thoroughly. They provided cold drinks on the boat. Then they took us to a small island for a delicious lunch and to see lots of starfish in the water. These three guides held the stingrays for us to pet and even kiss! They put our minds at ease about how safe it is to be around all those stingrays. They took lots of photos and we will cherish this memory for years to come. It was an awesome day! We highly recommend you take this tour with Anchor Tours in Grand Cayman!

We had a large party of 39 celebrating my grandma's 90th birthday so we booked a private boat with 3 stops to see the stingrays, starfish and snorkel at a coral reef. We had the BEST time and could not have had better guides and a captain. Carlos was so great and had the best personality while also educating us on the island during the bus ride to the marina. Eric and Ricky were also AMAZING. I can not speak highly enough about these 3 men and their attention to detail and taking care of us and making the day so fun and relaxing. It was the best day of our entire trip. The stingrays were wonderful, the boat was clean and organized, and we could not be more grateful to these men and this company for memories we will never forget. Also the communication with Judd was great and it was so easy to book and the prices were very reasonable. Thank you so much Anchor Tours, 10/10! :)

Jedd and his team were fantastic. I organized a private trip for 76 (adults and children) of us from a cruise ship. His crew met us at the dock, easy peasy and boarded great air-conditioned busses to the boat in Camana Bay. The boat crew were so welcoming to my friends and I! We headed out to the stingrays where the expert boat crew gave us an unforgettable experience with the rays on the beautiful sand bar. The kids jumped off the boat, we played music. Next we picked up a boxe lunch if chicken curry, stew and baked with rice and peas etc and ate off Rum Point. Kids played more in the water. They took us back to Camana Bay and then to the ship on time. It was an easy fabulous day.

We went on this excursion last week and it was AWESOME! We took a 40 minute boat ride out to the sting rays. Once we all Got in we all took time getting a photo with the large sting ray. The water was absolutely beautiful. There were lots of people there from other tours, which I liked. There were so many sting rays to see and plenty of time to actually pet them. Then we took a 5 minute boat ride out to the coral reef. Snorkeling was wonderful. I wish we would have had longer, but we saw plenty of beautiful fish and coral. I would definitely do this excursion again. Stephanie was our tour guide and she was GREAT!

Fun snorkeling in beautiful water, and then amazing visit to the Stingray Sandbar. I never expected to hold a Stingray in my hands, nor to have one "kiss" me. Our boat crew was great and the pictures they took were a wonderful memento. It does help to be a bit tall when you jump into the water at the Stingray Sandbar, as my wife, who is 5'1" tall, was almost underwater initially. Great trip, would do it again.

I loved seeing both the Turtle Centre and the Stinray Sandbar! I thought both of those were amazing! My husband and I got wonderful photos. I also liked seeing the town of Hell. The only thing I did not like was the bus driver, Tyrone, I think his name was. I did not think he was that great of a driver and he kept the bus like a sauna. Otherwise, it was an exceptional experience and I will gladly be back in the Cayman Islands someday. Thank you!

So kind and makes absolutely certain everything is perfect. The captain and the other gentlemen (sorry, too much cruise, I can't remember their names) were fantastic as well. While we were cruising, we made a stop at Grand Cayman. My family and I booked a trip to Sting Ray City and the Coral Gardens with Anchor Tours. Kevin from Anchor Tours met us at the Pier on time and provided clear directions and answered all our questions. We were transported to the boat and had about a 30 minute boat ride to Sting Ray City. It is beautiful! I was nervous to see how my 11 year old daughter would react with all of the sting rays, but the crew with Anchor Tours did an amazing job of working with everyone there to appreciate the natural beauty of Sting Ray City and the gentleness of these creatures. Before we left, the crew had my normally nervous daughter kissing a sting ray! Kevin stayed with us throughout and the other two crew members were amazing as well. We had our picture made with the sting rays by the anchor tour team. The electronic pics are available to purchase after afterwards. We left Sting Ray City and went to the Coral Gardens. This was fun, but not nearly as nice as Sting Ray City. We were abbreviated here due to the length of time the crew let us stay at SR City and that is ok! Id definitely go back to Sting Ray City, but would probably skip the Coral Gardens. Most families got their pics airdropped to their phone before we got back to the pier, but I was one of the families that did not get a chance to purchase our pics because the last tender was leaving to take us back to the ship in a few minutes. Kevin gave me the info on how to get our pics. Once we got home, I emailed Anchor Tours with the date and time of our trip as well as pics of my family so they could locate our photos. Jedd with Anchor Tours was able to locate my photos and quickly responded to emails for us to get them. After paying, he immediately transferred the pics to me as advertised! Good Job Anchor Tours! 5 Stars....We will do it again with you!

We had a ton of fun! Sash was our tour guide and photographer. She did an incredible job of letting us pose in the water with the rays. The crew on the boat were excellent. We were on the Miss Go-Go and it was a very comfortable and relaxing ride. We were able to feed and interact w the rays, as they are completely wild and swimming all around. Thank you Anchor Tours for a wonderful time during our stay in the Grand Cayman Islands. We were greeted by Steph and her team, and taken to meet the crew of Miss GoGo...they were so kind and attentive. The boat ride to Sting Ray City was perfect, and our favorite was hanging out with the sting rays. My husband and I could not believe our eyes when we saw the clear waters and the stingrays swimming around us. The crew held the stingrays, provided squid to feed them, and took great pictures of us holding and kissing (yes! you can kiss the stingray, lol) for us to have as a reminder of this wonderful experience. We booked this tour called Stingray Encounter, Reef, Snorkel starfish scenic cruise through Caribbean Princess Cruise before we arrived at Caymans. The captain was Davis, handler Hansel, tour guide and handler Torae. Hansel was fantastic with the Stingrays and had a smile on his face the whole time also. He hardly could give a ray to every one, but for me and my wife we got fantastic experience and even kissed a huge Stingray! Capt. Davis was also great in the water and assisted and took us up the river to see Gauwana's up trees and so close, even turned around and took us so close to trees with them on the branches. Torae a good speaking English happy gal fairly new but experienced and was very energetic, seemed to be well suited to talk to tourist instead of going to university. She explained all activities very well. Also in the water to assist our people on the boat with great pictures. Last on my bucket list was kissing a Stingray!! Great pictures we thought at home. I would of liked to see other larger star fish of different kinds than only one. Apparently we scared a turtle from the grassy area and would of been nice to see also. But where were other star fish? I have seen very bigger ones in the Bahamas' Is. The slower patrol back was nice also. The amount of time to touch and see the rays was adequate but went too fast. I would of liked to see something interesting in the shopping mall area we walked so fast through, or taken pictures. Transportation bus comfortable. Thanks Torae for your smiles, energy, and also Hansel for the Stingray touching and holding experience. A great experience for a man over 71 yrs. old! Safe boat, good Captain Davis. Softsand.

We looked for conch, the crew surveyed the area to be sure we could find some and moved to the best place. Most people either found live conch or shells that they could take home. Crew prepared conch meat for sampling near the end of the trip. Next, stingray city. We each had opportunity to hold a sting ray and kiss it for luck. Finally we went to see starfish near Rum Point. We had other appointments after the trip and the crew helped us to accommodate that. Our group was a mix of family and friends, with one 11 year old boy who had a great time. Overall, a great time, not to be missed.

My wife wanted to go to Stingray City and so we booked an excursion though our Cruise Line. The crew of the Miss GoGo were "amazing", their knowledge of the area, professionalism was out standing. I have never been on an excursion that compared to this one. Seeing and being able to touch the stingrays in their natural environment for both my wife and I will be something we will treasure for a life time. We not only saw the stingrays but also was able to see cow fish and two types of living Conch shells. If you are ever looking for a great and fantastic excursion go with Anchor Tours and the crew of the Miss GoGo.

We just returned from a family/friend cruise and our 2nd stop was in Grand Cayman. Prior to the cruise we booked a private tour with Allison at Anchor Tours for the 10 of us. She was so easy to work with and was very informative as to where and when she would pick us up at the port. On the day our boat arrived, she was there to greet us and arranged for us to be taken to the boat we would spend the rest of the day on. She provided us with water and fruit punch and told us about all the things we would be doing. Allison and the crew were very passionate and informative and made the experience so personal and memorable. We stopped at 4 different places including StingRay City where we spent an hour gettting pictures with and feeding the rays. It was truly incredible. This was my 2nd time in 2 years to do this excursion through Anchor Tours. I hope to come back each year!!
